Calisthenics is a team sport and requires the commitment of all team members throughout the year. Maverick intends to be a competitive calisthenic club and will attend a number of competitions a year including the NSW and ACT state competitions that are held in different theatre venues and will require the team to travel. Although teams will not be needed for both days, scheduling of the competition is dependent on entry numbers and therefore will be locked in closer to the date.

Maverick Seniors take out NSW Championship Title!!
Congratulations to our Seniors team, who won the aggregate at the New South Wales State Title on August 30th 2009, with only seven girls competing.
Out of the six items performed, the girls were awarded four golds and a bronze.
Well done on making us proud in our first inaugural year - what a team effort!
We would like to thank Michael Cali for all his backstage efforts and ongoing support, and Mrs Sue Brady for her time and efforts with our costumes.
